This is currently the stage that my daughter is in. Most of the items that I recommended on the 6-9 month page are the items that we use mostly. Since she will soon transition from using her bottle, we have incorporated transition cups with her meals. Additionally, our daughter has gotten a lot more comfortable with feeding herself so we use more snack cups to give her more confidence in feeding herself. Our daughter also has taken a keen interest in more complex toys… bye bye rattles. Take a look below at some of our favorite things.
- Munchkin Snack Catcher. This portable snack bowl allows independent toddlers to self-feed with a bit more dexterity and a lot less mess. Kids love accessing snacks all by themselves through the soft, flexible flaps, and moms love that those same flaps help prevent food spills all over the house and car.
- Transition cup. The Nûby GripN’Sip is uniquely engineered with Easy Grip handles that are sized to fit your child’s hands. This No-Spill Cup is perfect for beginners. You will be delighted with the transition from bottle to cup thanks to Nûby’s valveless, leak resistant design. The soft silicone spout is uniquely designed to prevent drips and spills while being delicate and gentle to baby’s gums and emerging teeth.
- Fisher-Price Rock-a-stack and Baby’s First Blocks Bundle. Little ones will have a blast with this exciting gift set, which features two iconic Fisher-Price toys: a rock-a-stack and baby’s first blocks! with all the bat-at play and shape-sorting fun, your baby will be busy as a Bee developing fine motor and problem solving skills.
- Colorful Shapes Puzzle. Puzzles encourage hand-eye, fine motor and visual perception skills. It’s never too early to bust out a puzzle.
